Description

Mastering Cohort is a free, beginner-friendly course that teaches you to run your college on mycohort.org — from a student's first inquiry all the way to graduation.

No technical background needed. If you can use email and a web browser, you can use Cohort. This course assumes zero prior experience with a Student Information System.

You'll learn how to:

  • Set up your school — branding, PCC registration number, staff, programs, courses, and fees
  • Run admissions — prospects, applications, and enrollment
  • Manage students — records, demographics, consent, documents, and lifecycle status
  • Handle money — invoices, payment plans, e-Transfers, and official PCC payment receipts
  • Track student referrals, issue letters and credentials, and run reports (T2202, revenue)
  • Support students in the portal — and import your existing data from AmpEducator

14 modules, each with click-by-click steps, pro tips, common mistakes, a hands-on exercise, and a knowledge check. Take the fast path (Modules 1, 6, 7, 8) in about 90 minutes, or the full course in 6–7 hours.
