Rank Tracker

Your Google positions, checked every day.

ItzSEO checks every tracked keyword once a day against the top 100 Google results for its country, language and device, keeps the history for the life of the keyword, and emails you when positions move. Desktop or mobile per keyword, 59 countries, AI Overview and featured-snippet flags, the top 20 competing pages per query, and a Claude recommendation when you want one. Tracked keywords: 25 on Starter, 100 on Growth, 500 on Agency, 2,000 on Scale.

What you get

Every tracked keyword, every day.

Daily checks, kept forever

One check per keyword per day in the top 100, stored as a dated history. The table shows the current position and a 7-day trend arrow; the drawer shows a 30-day chart.

59 countries, desktop or mobile

Each keyword carries its own country, language and device, so the same term can be tracked in United States, United Kingdom, Canada and more, on desktop and on mobile, side by side.

AI Overview and SERP features

Every check records whether the results page showed an AI Overview, a featured snippet or People Also Ask, shown as badges on the keyword and in the drawer.

Ranking URL and target URL

See which of your pages Google chose. Set the page you want to rank and the drawer flags it when a different one shows up.

Top 20 competitors per query

The pages ranking above and around you, with positions and titles, captured on every check so you can see who moved when you did.

Daily rank email

Moves of three positions or more, keywords entering or leaving the top 100 — sent only on days something changed, to the workspace owner.

Working filters

Easy wins (positions 11–30 with decent volume and low difficulty), high volume, and snippet opportunities where a featured snippet exists and you already rank in the top five.

Claude recommendation

On a paid plan, ask for a written plan for one keyword, built from the latest SERP snapshot and competitors. Two AI credits, only when you ask.

How it works

From saved keyword to daily history.

  1. STEP 1

    Save keywords

From keyword research, the content brief, or by hand — with the country, language and device you care about.

  2. STEP 2

    Turn on tracking

Flip the switch on the keywords that matter. Research-only keywords stay unlimited; tracked ones count against your plan.

  3. STEP 3

    Get the first check

Press Refresh for an instant position, or wait for the nightly run. Either way the result lands in the same daily history.

  4. STEP 4

    Read the moves

The daily email tells you what moved; the table, filters and drawer tell you why and what to do next.

“Tracked” means a daily Google check. Keywords saved for research (volume, difficulty, CPC, intent) are not capped on any plan and never trigger a check.

FAQ

Rank Tracker questions.

Does ItzSEO track keyword rankings?
Yes. Every keyword you mark as tracked is checked once a day against the top 100 Google results for its country, language and device, and the position, ranking URL and SERP features are stored for as long as the keyword exists. Tracked keywords per workspace: Starter 25, Growth 100, Agency 500, Scale 2,000. The Free plan does not include rank tracking.
Where does the ranking data come from?
From DataForSEO's live Google SERP API — the same data supplier several large SEO platforms use. Each check is a fresh, personalisation-free query at the time it runs, not a cached copy.
Which countries and devices are supported?
59 countries, including United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, India, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Germany, France, Brazil and most of Europe, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, Africa and Latin America. Each keyword has its own country, language and device (desktop or mobile), so one project can track the same term in several markets. City- or postcode-level tracking is not available.
How often are positions updated?
Once a day, automatically, for every tracked keyword. You can also re-check any keyword — or all of them — on demand from the table; a manual check replaces that day's stored result rather than adding a second one.
What does the daily rank email contain?
Keywords that moved up or down by three or more positions, keywords that entered the top 100 and keywords that left it, sorted by size of move. It goes to the workspace owner, only on days when something moved, and can be switched off in email preferences.
Does it detect Google AI Overviews?
Yes. Each check records whether the results page for that keyword showed an AI Overview, a featured snippet and People Also Ask boxes, and the table shows these as badges. The filter "Snippet opportunities" lists keywords where a featured snippet exists and you rank in the top five. Answer Engine shows who holds each of those answers and which sites the AI Overview cites.
Can I see who outranks me?
Yes. Every check keeps the top 20 competing URLs with their positions and titles, shown in the keyword drawer. On a paid plan you can ask Claude for a written recommendation based on that SERP snapshot (2 AI credits per keyword, generated only when you ask).
What if the wrong page is ranking?
Set a target URL on the keyword. When Google returns a different page from your domain, the drawer flags the mismatch so you can fix internal linking or cannibalisation.
Is there share-of-voice, ZIP-level local tracking or PDF export?
Not today. Rank Tracker reports per-keyword positions, history and competitors; it does not calculate share of voice across keywords, track local-pack positions by city or postcode, or export white-label PDF reports. Competitor domains you add in project settings are used for keyword-gap analysis, not for rank tracking. When any of these ships it will appear in the changelog.
What happens if I go over my plan's tracked-keyword limit?
You can keep every keyword saved for research, but the tracking toggle refuses new keywords once the workspace is at its limit; untrack one or upgrade. Existing tracked keywords keep their history.
